Car looks great!

Also, the red in a bull fighters cape isn’t what pisses the bull off, it’s the motion of it. I believe they’re colorblind.

thanks! :)

the manuals are around, but clean, well sorted, <100k mi examples of the S4’s are beginning to creep up in their asking prices. the vast majority of S4’s came from the factory with autos.

i’ve been looking for one since i was 7 years old. but really got into the market when my xjs started becoming more than i could keep up with and still daily drive.

i was actually resigned to picking up an auto, in a more subtle color, but this one popped up in my area, so no need for travel or transport, so i took a flyer on the red. and it looked great when i went to test drive it. and the seller accepted my offer. so here we are. It does have a white interior, which shows fairly good for being 26 years, but could definitley use a deep cleaning.

photos were taken in and around waitsfield. :)

That car is gorgeous, I think I’ve said before here but the 928 is the perfect road trip car. I’m very jelly

Not sure how I missed all those posts but congrats on the recent purchase. Definitely an under appreciated Porsche that is only going to rise in value.

Well you were definitely around my old stomping grounds, recognize a few of the covered bridges.

First time up in VT? I can recommend the best driving roads for you next trip.

Nice, Carrera 4 I’m guessing? I grew up in Southern VT, lived in Burlington for a year before moving to California. Certainly miss it, usually get back once or twice a year. Route 30 between Dorset and Pawlet, aka. The Mettawee Valley Speedway, good times.

Perhaps because I am indeed a scientist, I too have an affinity for the far side.

I believe I've seen every one them, and if not... I'm sure it's close. I think there is a relevant cartoon for nearly every situation I find myself in.

Heritage breed cows, I was feeding and herding some of these guys today while in Georgia picking up my new puppy.

Funfact: heritage breed have a 50/50 chance of throwing a bull calf every time. So if you are eating heritage cow beef it is almost 100% a castrated male (steer)

I misspoke earlier, the breed is colloquially known as Heritage breed or Belties, because they are actually named Belted Gallaway cattle

You lucky, lucky bastard.

928S4 + guards red + tan interior + Turbo Twist 993/996 wheels + A MANUAL GEARBOX...

A superlative Grand Tourer, on a very nice countryside grand tour. It looks like a great time was had.
